Social media: How to Create Post

Creating a Social Media Post with HitMe

To create a social media post, navigate to Social Media > Compose. This will open the Compose Post page, which is divided into three main sections, each designed to guide you through the process of creating and scheduling your post.

1. Multimedia Section

The first section displays a library of available multimedia assets, including images and videos, that you can use in your post. This library serves as a central hub for all your uploaded content, making it easy to select and reuse visuals that align with your brand. Simply browse through the library, choose the desired multimedia, and attach it to your post.

You can also access our Images Library to quickly find and add high-quality images to your post. These images are completely free and can be used for both personal and business purposes, ensuring that your content remains visually appealing without incurring additional costs.

If you need to upload new media files, click the Upload Media button to add them to your library. These files will become instantly available for use in your current and future posts.

2. Post Creation Form

The second section is the main post creation form, where you will:

Select Social Media Accounts:

Use the dropdown menu to manually select the accounts you want to publish the post to. Alternatively, if you’ve already set up groups of accounts, you can select an account group to save time.

Create Content:

Below the account selection field, you’ll find the Content Field, where you can compose the text of your post. This field allows you to craft engaging captions, add emojis using the emoji picker, and include previously saved captions for consistency.

Set the Publication Date and Time:

Choose whether to publish the post immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time. The scheduling option allows you to plan your posts in advance, ensuring that your content reaches your audience at the optimal time.

Save or Schedule the Post:

At the bottom of this section, you’ll find two action buttons:

Save as Draft: Use this option if you haven’t finished your post and want to come back to it later. You’ll also be prompted to choose which Draft Collection the post should be saved to for better organization.

Schedule for Publication: Select this option to finalize and schedule your post for publishing. Once scheduled, the post will appear in the Scheduled Posts list within the calendar.

3. Live Preview

The third section provides a Live Preview of your post as you’re creating it. This preview updates in real-time, giving you a clear idea of how your post will look once it’s published on the selected social media platforms. It includes formatting, multimedia, and text alignment, ensuring that your content appears professional and polished before it goes live.
