E-commerce: Shop Quick Start with Wizard

The Shop Wizard provides a convenient way to quickly set up the essential data needed to start selling products online. While completing the wizard is optional, it is highly recommended to streamline your store's initial configuration. You can always modify these settings later as needed. The wizard consists of two simple steps designed to help you establish the foundation of your eCommerce store:

Step 1: Business Details

This step focuses on entering key information about your business and setting up basic configurations. It includes:

  • Business Information: Input essential details about your business, such as the business name, address, and contact details.

  • Payment Information: Configure currency settings and select the primary currency in which your store will operate.

Step 2: Payments & Shipping

This step allows you to define the financial and logistical aspects of your store:

  • Payment Options: Quickly set up available payment methods, such as credit cards, Stripe, or bank transfers.

  • Default Tax Options: Configure default tax rates for products based on your location or business model.

  • Shipping Options: Establish shipping methods, rates, and regions to ensure a smooth delivery process for customers.

By completing these two steps, your online store will be equipped with the fundamental settings required to begin operations. The Shop Wizard ensures a hassle-free setup experience, enabling you to focus on building your product catalog and marketing your store.

The Shop Wizard ensures that your store is ready to operate with minimal effort. After completing the wizard setup, you can immediately start adding products to your store or import existing product data to save time.

Adding or Importing Products

Once the setup is complete, you have two main options for building your product catalog:

  1. Adding Products Manually: Use the product creation tool, go to eCommerce > New Product to add products one by one, allowing for detailed customization of each listing.

  2. Importing Products from Existing Data: If you already have product data, you can use our dedicated import modules to streamline the process:

  • Simple Importer XML/CSV: Quickly import product data using XML or CSV files. This is ideal if you have an inventory spreadsheet or a database export.

  • Import from WooCommerce: Seamlessly migrate products from an existing WooCommerce store, including product details, categories, and pricing.

These tools make it easy to populate your store with products, whether you are starting fresh or migrating from another platform. With these options, you can get your online store up and running quickly, ready to serve your customers.
