To create a new post on your website, navigate to Content > New Post. This page is divided into two main sections:
• The left section: This contains the primary form where you can create and configure your post content.
• The right section: This offers a live preview of your current post, allowing you to see real-time changes as you edit.
Post Creation
The post form includes several fields and options that help you configure and customize your post:
1. Title
Enter the title of your post here. This will be displayed as the headline of your post.
2. Settings
Within the settings section, you will find various options:
• Publication Date: Allows you to set a specific date and time for the post to be published. If you choose a future date, the post will automatically publish at the specified time.
• Comments: You can enable or disable the comment feature for the post based on your preference.
• Set Password: This option lets you protect your post by assigning a password, ensuring that only users with the password can access the content.
3. Status
Choose the current status of your post:
• Draft: Save the post as a draft to continue editing later.
• Published: Make the post live immediately or schedule it with a future publication date.
4. Category
Assign your post to one or more categories. Categories help organize your content and make it easier for visitors to navigate your site.
5. Main Photo
The Main Photo field allows you to select an image that represents your post. You can:
• Upload an image directly from your file manager.
• Browse and choose an image from the built-in image library.
6. Description
The Description field is where you create the main body of your post. Our powerful Content Creator tool makes it easy to design and customize your content. With the Content Creator, you can:
• Use pre-designed blocks to quickly add text, images, and other media elements.
• Easily format your content and create a visually appealing layout.
• Effortlessly combine text and images to produce unique and engaging posts.
Connecting Products to Your Post
If you have the eCommerce module active, you can seamlessly connect products to your article. This is particularly useful for promoting items related to your content. Here’s how you can connect products:
• Below the Description field, you will find the Connected Products list.
• Use the search function to find products by their title or SKU code.
• Add products to your post with a single click.
• Reorder the products easily using drag-and-drop functionality to determine their display position.
By linking relevant products to your post, you can drive more engagement and conversions, making your content even more effective.
Live Preview
The live preview on the right side of the page ensures you can see exactly how your post will appear to your audience. As you make changes to the title, description, main photo, or settings, the preview updates in real-time, helping you refine your post before publishing.
